Anita Briem has been an actress in Iceland for over twenty years. Anita Briem is an Icelandic actress. She's best known for portraying Jane Seymour, the young woman who will become the 3rd Queen of Henry VIII on the television series The Tudors. Briem was nine when she first began performing at Iceland's National Theater. As a kid, she was an actor in Iceland performing in the stage and on television. Briem at the age of 16 moved to London and was a part of her first production, Lenin In Love at the New End Theater. Briem 19 years old, she was accepted to at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London. There she studied over three years. Briem earned her degree in Drama and also won the John Barton Prize under the Scenic Fight category. While studying at RADA the actor performed in various plays such as The Cherry Garden of Anton Chekhov as well as the play Bernarda Alba's house by Federico Garcia Lorca.
