Bonnie Schneider is meteorologist appearing on various platforms including CNN as well as HLN. Her television show, LAST HOUSE REMAINING on DIY NETWORK began airing on March 30, 2012. The show also has her as on camera meteorologist, and the co-executive director. Her first book EXTREME weather, which was published by Palgrave Macmillan January 31 2012. Her website promoting her multi-city book tour beginning Feburary 1, 2012 in Boston, media appearances and video chat is BonnieWeather.com [[1]] In August, 2011 during coverage of Hurricane Irene, Schneider's book was featured on HLN's popular prime time show, Special Report with Vinnie Politan Prior her work on CNN that began in the summer of 2005, Schneider has also been the Weekend Meteorologist/Special Assignment Reporter for "The Ten O'Clock News" on WLVI-TV WB56 in Boston. While in Boston she also offered the entertainment and lifestyle reports as the special assignment reporter three days a week. She was the Saturday weather forecaster at WFOR-TV Miami prior to joining WB56. She has held several meteorology and reporting positions including: News 12 Long Island that is a 24-hour cable news television network, as well as WXII-TV which is the NBC affiliate in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. Also, she was a frequent replacement for The Saturday Early Show on CBS's New York City network.
